Send the entire record

Urdu documents can contain closely written entries, signatures, and stamps spread across the page. Send a complete, readable copy with the original page orientation. For a folded or large document, include an image of the whole record as well as clear close-ups where needed.

We review requests for marriage records, birth certificates, identity documents, declarations, and supporting paperwork. Explain where the English translation will be submitted and include any instructions you have received.

Handwriting deserves a careful review

Names, dates, and short notes can be difficult to distinguish in a low-resolution image. We may ask for another scan or a clearer photograph before confirming the work. If a section remains unreadable, we discuss that limitation with you rather than inventing an entry.

Share the English spelling of names used on related records. If the source includes both Urdu and English, keep those sections together so the translator can see the full context. Do not cover a stamp or signature while taking the photograph.

Discuss certification before the work begins

Our certified service includes a certification statement with a wet-ink signature. Send any particular wording or format requested by the receiving organization so we can review it with the document.

Digital delivery includes a scanned signed copy. Customers who need the original signed paper can arrange a Columbus handoff. Written translation is also available online nationwide.

Questions about your document

Can I send a handwritten Urdu marriage record?

Yes, for review. Include every page and a clear image of the complete record. We will assess the handwriting and ask for a better copy if parts cannot be read.

My document is larger than a standard sheet. How should I photograph it?

Take one image showing the entire document, then additional close-ups with overlapping sections if needed. Keep the original orientation and make sure no folds hide the text.

Can I use the same request for spoken interpretation?

Written translation and spoken interpretation are arranged separately. For an interpreter, tell us the language pair, appointment date, location, and whether the appointment is remote or in person so we can check availability.
